9 years ago Monday I had my Gastric Bypass and 7 weeks ago I was Banded (BOB).  I am down like 30lbs and feel restriction again for the 1st time in 3-4yrs.  I still have a ways to go [305 in 2002, 175 in 2003, 246 before BOB and now 220ish] but I am loving love again. I get my 2nd fill on Monday and hoping it helps kick my plateau.  I just started exercising again (i.e. doing more than walking as I walk a ton anyway living in Manhattan).  But, let me tell you something…I AM CRAVING SWEETS. All I do is eat protein, salads, veggiess, more protein.  No shakes (yuck).  I am getting 80+ g of protein a day and I am happy to report, my hair never looked better. But, I need something sweet. I think something small, delicious, an amuse bush (as they would say on Top Chef) that is about 100-200 calories.  Any recommendations? I’m also craving some Naan bread but I don’t even DARE.

I make sweet treats using protein powder. Cookies - cakes, etc.

Hala, I appreciate the suggestion but that would require me to bake and I also hate protein powder. I don't need extra protein and I don't want it to taste that way. Plus, that would mean I'd have the extra's in the house. You cannot make just 1 cookie or 1 slice of cake.

sorry.. I do got used to the proteins (actually love some and hate others...lol)
And I do make "one piece of cake" as needed.   lol.
I do need extra proteins or my blood work show low -normal.

But ... that is a dilemma..

There is a recipe for fake muffin:  no carbs - and full of fiber

1 egg (or egg whites)
1/4 cup flax meal
1/4 tsp baking powder
sweetener (I use stevia - but good tasting SF syrups are fine, and taste great).

mix all together, and nuke for 1.5-2 min. in a microwave safe cup (at least 2 x the volume),
Invert on a plate. Let cool. Eat as is (dry) or slice into thin slices and add some SF preserves..

Some people love it - others - not so much.   I love that.
I make a "single " cake like that.
Or a 1/2 piece of fruit + 1-2 Tbs light whip cream. (plus some SF sweeteners if you need)
There are also great protein bars - the small ones - can be used as snacks.  "OH yea" bar, or "Powder crunch" - the last I use 1/2 at a time as a treat.
There are also SF gums - some taste really good - and can be used as treats.

Dairy Queen has low cal ice cream treats (with sucralose).  The fudgesicles have 45 calories I believe and they also have an orangesicle version too.  In the freezer section there is a brand called Skinny Cow - sundaes again without sugar.  It's been hot so I guess I have ice cream on the brain.  Check out some shops/bakeries/cakeries that make desserts for diabetics.  You'll be sure to find some low/no sugar alternatives.  There is also the Vita line (I've never tried so can't comment on taste).  http://www.vitalicious.com/

It is. I get very hot and sweaty.  It's really an attractive quality when I am out on a date!
