I've lost over 100 lbs and my lower back is constantly hurting! I am trying not to sit so its put pressure on my tailbone but its just constant pain. I wanted to see if anyone else had any similar problems or suggestions.

Is it definitely lower back?  Here's why I ask.  At about 4 months out, after my 3 month labs anyway, I start having a feeling right below my right shoulder blade which I can only describe as feeling like my back needed to "crack" or was misaligned.  At my 6 month labs, I find out that I have developed gall stones and that feeling that I was getting was a symptom.  Gall bladder issues are common for those experiencing rapid weight loss.  So on the 17th I go in for a gall bladder removal.  Other than that, my back has felt much better since surgery.

My tail bone has been an issue and I have read on here that it seems to be an issue for many folks.  My low back and pelvis, as well as the lower section of my neck have osteoarthritis and are alwaays slightly painful.  I don't believe they are surgery related.   Elena

There is my opinion: as we are losing weight - the body is changing.  The fat is gone - and bones are trying to get realigned. All over. Even the feet are getting smaller, everything needs realignment,
Yoga helped me, as well as monthly or bimonthly visit to my chiropractor.
