It ****** me off to NO end when my dh tells me to pick up the house.  Like i'm some child or employee.  The house is clean, laundry is caught up, dishes are done.  What more is there?  It's our constant fight.  He keeps threatening to move out and get his own house where it can be spotless...I wish he would.

Is he disabled? What's wrong with his hands?

Does he think he's too good to do housework?

oh no, HE says i don't do it right.  WTF??

my favorite of his is when he complains about having 3 jobs....his actual job, his parenting job and his janitoral job (house work).  give me a ******g break!  WOMEN do that **** ALL. THE. TIME.  i work outside the home too, and I'm expected to come home, fix dinner, help with homework, give baths (or tell them to get baths), get them ready for bed, and straighten up the house.  by then, i'm damn dog tired and he wants to get busy...well, getting busy.  and then has the balls to complain when i say nope.

Heather,

If your hubby wants to "get busy" when you are too tired, hand him a sock. My hubby made the mistake of telling me that's how they handled (pun intended) "urges" when they were underway on the submarine. Now, when I'm too tired, I toss him a sock.
When push comes to shove....shove hard!

Never regret anything, because at one time it was exactly what you wanted.

LOL! Yep, a sock. Hubby says if ever a lone sock was found lying around, NOBODY would touch it!

7 more days.

I have quit my job. Got a new job. A better job. They have no-one trained to do what I do (which is what 3 people used to do before the layoffs last year). Or even close to trained. When I go on vacation it all goes pear-shaped.

Soo...currently covering for a co-worker on vacation and trying to train 2 different deers-caught-in-the-headlights to do critical parts of my job when I'm gone. Like order/manage all the material inventories for the entire plant.

Ah, well. They ran the plant before I came, they'll run just fine after I leave, right?

Can I leave now?

My plastic surgeon doesn't have availability for a check up until September.. maybe. WTF.. Surgery, drains out at day 6, and then no time for me anymore. Gotta love it...not.

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

Oh Bette!

Thank you so much for this.  I really needed it.  I love the enraged panda cartoon.  Actually I saved it.  Sometimes I feel just like that. Is good to read that I am not alone.
