 Thank you so much my beautiful sista... Hopefully she will continue getting stronger each day until fully recovered.

Yes I will be visiting soon maybe before the holidays or right after. By than I should be 3-4 months Post-op so that will be cool. I haven't been to New Haven since 2009 when my cousin was killed in a car wreck when being chased by the police on state street. Ever since than it's been hard for me to visit because so much has changed and alot of the people I grew up with died or is in jail. However, I have the greatest memories there especially from my home church Promiseland COG in West Haven, CT. That is one of the best churches in this country if you ask me. But you and your daughter keep shining and I love your positive energy.

Wow .. sorry to hear about your cousin ... it would be hard for me to visit too under the cir****tances you describe ... It is good that you have good memories also and I hope they offset the pain of your loss somewhat and I know it must be hard.  I wish you nothing but the best on your weight loss journey.

Candice is an amazing woman with an amazing mom and family behind her.    I am so happy for her.  She's glowing in these pics!  

From difficulty lifting her coffee cup not long ago to teaching zumba again.  She is truly Blessed.   

Thanks for sharing her story.  Life is multifaceted.  We often face more than the fight over obesity when evaluating our health issues.  Candice is clearly winning the war over her health.
