AND I AM FOOLISH ENOUGH TO DO JUST THAT ... AND POST A DUFUS THREAD ABOUT IT ... TEE HEEEEEEEEE ... cause tomorrow I am celebrating my big FOUR AND A HALF ... YES.... 4.5 .... 4 1/2 YEARS POST RNY .... yayyyyyyyy and EVERY MONTH I am celebrating my monthly surgiversary .... shoot ... I celebrate every day ... not only my surgiversary ... I celebrate a new day ... to smile afresh ... to think positive ... to see the cup half full ... to embrace joy and let it happen to me ....

THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN ... WE KNITTED SWEET PEA HATS FOR OUR KIDS BACK IN THE DAY... this pic of off someone's blog...
All in all what do I have to celebrate? Health and Mobility and 4.5 years of not being spooked by the sashaying noise of my own caboose or the shafing of my thunder thighs .... 5 Co-morbidities in remission ...no more diabetes... no gastroesophageal reflux...no hypertension...no dyslipidemia...no sleep apnea yikes HATED THE CPAP... or other related ...DJD...asthma..SOB.... I can run ... I can swim .. .I am mobile and I am free to move and be as active as I want to be ...
Oh all hell is breaking loose around me ... my DH has Charcot foot on his contralateral joint to the one with the partial amputation .... we are trying to get my DD into remission with her Dermatomyositis recently diagnosed .... and my DS is struggling with his own ailments .... but THIS DAY ...WE ALL WOKE UP TO A NEW BEGINNING ....THANKFUL TO BE TOGETHER ... AND AS A FAMILY EMBRACING JOY .... AND LETTING IT HAPPEN ... ONE MINUTE AT A TIME ....
Here is me and my journal entry before and after ... every wrinkle and dimple ... I had a panniculectomy paid by insurance at 18 months out and a modified brachioplasty a X-mas gift paid by family ....
I love my mobility ... I love to sew... l love to sketch and paint and I love to make dolls.... but most of all I love love love walking up at 4 am and hitting the pavement in a run ... to think 4.5 years ago I could not make it up a flight of stairs....
This is one of the first set of OH friends canvas I painted ... my beautiful OH friend Cira ... I have about 30 canvas I cannot find the addys or the names to send out ... it is soooooooooo good I found Cira and invited her to Share-it ...
