Miranda's big PHAT Bariatric Adventure, Episode #2

Well you guys voted (some of you) and Miranda took Hatcher to her doctor's appointment. Boy was she in for a BIG surprise. Read how it went in Episode #2 and then weigh in on how her experience compares to yours!

I like it but can't relate to the not being informed in advance part, I had read everything about rny and lapband before I set foot at a seminar and that was over 7 years ago.  But my boyfriend was against the surgery until he went to the seminar and then immediately afterwards said well obviously thats what you need to do, even when I got scared and couldn't lose my 10lbs I needed too to schedule my surgery.

Well, for Miranda it isn’t necessarily that she isn’t informed but that she’s not willing to mentally commit one way or the other. This is literally the first action she took after doing a series of basic Google searches. Unfortunately I was a lot like Miranda. Actually I was worse. I did no research, not even on my surgeon before I let him cut into me. It is a sad testament to my lack of self esteem and I’m not proud of it.

 

BUT, I have a feeling Miranda will “get with the program" soon enough.
