Since you enjoyed it last time: B*TCHFest!!
I think intolerances and allergies are often misunderstood or confused ...
An intolerance might make you sick, give you diahorrea and generally make you feel a bit rough. You would have to consume the item to get any symptoms.
An allergy will possibly KILL you! Peanuts and seafood are the most common kind to have (I believe), and in the case of peanuts just the dust in the air, on someone's skin or on their breath can kill you. It's why peanuts are no longer served on airplanes.
Thankfully we don't have anyone with peanut allergies at my son's school so PB is a free food - however, that could change at any time and I have no problem with this - I would hope parents would be responsible and empathetic if it were my child that were in this constant danger ... I can't begin to understand the fear that goes along with this - and having to give control of my child's life to other people - ugh!

when my husband went to an allergy clinic for testing they told him that allergies are one of the least understood and least sympathized with illnesses. Those of us who don't have them just don't get it (guilty) :)
I've tried really hard to remember that. Since I haven't been able to have a cat in 26 years of marriage!

Oh, Oh, Oh, my ******g sister in law lives with us, moved in for a couple of months 4 years ago. AND she gets up at 4 ******g 30 every morning and slams the bathroom cabinets. AND is a horder I swear and has filled the guest room with piles of stuff. AND I'm out of room for my stuff and don't have use of this room because she is in there with her piles of stuff. AND I feel like a ***** because I don't want her there and rant and rave to my friends knowing damn good and well she has no where to go. WAAAAAHHH! She really isn't that big a problem but damn, today I'm feeling put upon.
She has been a care giver her whole life. She cared for her teenage girls after her divorced, while working at a hospital as an assistant. After her kids where grown she became involved with a man who was paralized from the neck down. She became his caregiver until he passed. Then my mother in law needed personal care as she had Alezhiemers and she moved in and took care of her 24/7. She passed this year. Now my sister in law has no one to care for and has no savings, no place to live and has zeroed in on her grandkids spending all her money on them. So we (hubbie and I) take care of her living expenses and groceries, utilitzes and entertainment because she doesn't seem to know how to take care of herself. She lives with us and only has her car payment to make. We pay everything else. She can take care of the world but can't take care of herself or her finances.
Now I know if you are going to have to take care of somebody, caring for someone who has given so much to so many shouldn't be an issue. Except I'm a ***** A selfish *****

And it is HOT! Did I mention it will still be HOT when hubby and I have to move on Friday, by ourselves..
And still HOT when I am recovering from my TT next week in our new apartment with no AC...
That is if my TT isn't pushed off. My surgeon has been called to another duty station on an emergency, so he *may* be rescheduling his calendar for next week- and I will find out Fri afternoon.. ****balls.. I had this thing planned out to the ******g hour.. I got no time to spare on it!

"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." - Ramona L. Anderson
I'm sick of feeling beat to ****I know it's not that unusual at this stage of the game post-op, but my anti-depressants and I have an arrangement. I take them every day and they keep me off the ledges. My new stomach plumbing has interferred with said arrangement and that is making me cranky and by "cranky" I mean "a miserable *****"
Oh Mary Sunshine PLEASE tell me once more how I'll be "over that and shopping for biknis in no time." ***** I didn't do this so I could wear a bikini I did it so I could LIVE and reclaim some of what I consider lost DIGNITY. Maybe once you no longer have to put a school girl uniform on your 45 year-old ass to go to work you'll want some for yourself.
Can my breasts get any smaller? At this point they appear to be looking for something in my waist band...by the time I get 'em shortened there will be nothing left!

**** you mother nature. My band is tighter than a virgin asshole in this heat. Three bites every hour or so sucks, mostly because the phone rings every time I go to take one.
And **** you thyroid, you decide to slow down and stall my weight loss When I'm doing fantastic with my eating habits. 1200 calories or less a day for weeks and lots of new exercise but nooo the scale isn't moving. If it don't move soon Mr. Scale has a date with Mr sledgehammer!
