XPOST, OT: Talk to me about rudeness . . .

I'm with Ms. Batt.  Neighbors burning their tree stumps, leaves, and even garbage is my biggest rudeness problem.  I live in a small village, and those things are against the law, but it's not enforced.  We often have to close all our windows because of burning.

One time it became life threatening when my mother in law who has COPD couldn't catch her breath when our next-door neighbor lit up a big pile of brush.  She was staying with us, was alone at the time, and when I came home, she was huddled in the basement trying to catch her breath.

Also they seem to think that chimineas are very quaint to use on a summer evening.  It's quaint for them, and a pollutant to us.

Oh let me tell you my peeve.  Parents who do not know how to control their child in a store or restaurant.  HOLY ****!!!

I screaming disrespectful child drives me nut.  But I tell ya, i more so want to go and smack the **** outta the mama  for not  teaching the child better.  If you have not taught your child how to behavior properly in public, then geta babysitter while you and your spouse go out to dinner.  When my husband and I go out to dinner, its a very rare occasion and the last thing I want is to have to hear some kid crying or screaming and the the parent say " if you do that again you are going to be in trouble" and the kid does it again and the parent says the same thing.  FOLLOW THOUGH...damn, it is that hard.  If you tell the child they are going to get a spanking if they did it again and they do it again, then spank the child, for crying out loud, FOLLOW THOUGH...The child only knows what it's taught.  That is why I want to smack the parents.  Ok, I could go on and on about this, but I won't..lol...  there's my peeve.

Question, do you have kids?  I was the perfect mom....then I had kids.  It isn't always so black and white.  It certainally isn't always that easy,  Just saying.

Oh, I get a bunch if them.  I am a cashier at WalMart.

1.  Cell phone talkers.  they continue to talk, talk, talk while I am ringing up their purchases.  I get done and tell them how much the bill is and they just throw their money, credit card, whatever at me.  We take care of the transaction and then they leave.  Not one word has been said between us.  Rude *****es - BTW this is 99% women.  The men excuse themselves from the phone while they buy their stuff.

2.  The way people want their things packed in the bags.  I always try to get the most items in the bag.  I keep food separate from detergents, cold foods separate, shampoo seperate, etc.  I try to do this whil Little Johhny is spinning the bags round and round even after I have asked them not to.  Mother stands there oblivious to everything.ARGHHHH!

Those are my best two.

My pet peeve is people in movie theaters. It is tough enough to find time to see a movie, afford to see the movie and then have to listen to someone talk throughout it? I am someone who gets distracted easily by others talking and it ****** me off to hear someone discussing what just happened on the screen or what they THINK is about to happen. My SIL is one of those people and I just wanna slap her and tell her to watch the damn movie. Well-that is my most recent pet peeve...can't guarentee there won't be more tomorrow:)

Oh yeah...the talking through a movie thing gets me too! I also can't stand people who check their phones during the movie or ANSWER their phones during the movie...ugh...so annoying.

I rarely go to the movies anymore because it is so expensive and people seem to be getting more and more rude. I'll save my $10 and stream something on Netflix or find a Red Box.

Hey Bette,

-2 or more people on the sidewalk and 1 or all do not move over so that you too can keep your feet out of the mud.****ep walking through them)

-screaming children  the stores. what store of all places I seem to notice...no lie....Wal-Mart. I blame the parent/s. Training a child starts when learning how to walk NOT WHEN THEY ARE 13!

-anyone talking on a cell phone. I can't stand it!!!!
Don't kill me and my family because YOUR conversation and text is MORE important than keeping your eyes on the road.
Honestly, IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND DOING IT....STOP!

-Walking in stores not being greeted i.e. clothing stores/not telling me what my total is/not saying thank you.

-being followed in the store because I am black. If someone tells me I'm being sensitive....NEWSFLASH.......REALITY IS,IT EXIST EVERYDAY.

-some people telling me I style my hair a certain way for attention. HELLO, I know who I am. I am not a cookie cutter type of chick. Yes, I am black with blonde hair. No I am not fake because I like to enhance my beauty.
I've had red hair, blue hair and in between. My hair styles are "right and tight". You can't be rockin' those colors and look like a mess. No Niki Minage or however you spell her name jacker here. Been doing this since 1991.

-parents that allow there children to play  video games all day. How about reading a book or having other activities? My children are busy year round.

-PEOPLE TAKING ALOT OF 1 PRODUCT OFF THE SHELVES FOR GREED! You do not need 15 deodorant's.

-people that have and don't give to others. that gets under my skin. I am greatful that I have wisdom not to be that way and greatful being taught that valuable lesson as a child.

-when you pick someone up and they are not ready. Really? I have to wait 10 minutes.

I know what i'm doing,I have it all planned-plans to give you the future you hope for.Jeremiah 29:11(The Message)
