A new pet peeve

Being told I am too "tiny" to be considering wls. Now even the bariatric people here are telling me I am so "tiny". WTF??? im over 100 pounds overweight! That is NOT tiny. sorry peeps had to vent to ppl who would understand. Thanks

What are baratric people?

um i can't spell.. the bariatric team here.. in particular the Occupational Therapist, the Dietitian, and the office manager.

This site has a BMI calculator on it;  just enter your height and weight and it will give you the number.  Usually +100 lbs is considered as qualifying for the wls.

Poke them in the eye viciously with a Hb pencil.

I was thinking of using a sharpie but a pencil will work too :D

I have less than 100 pounds to lose. Their are several on the lightweight forum that have less than 100 to lose.

My surgeon's goal weight for me is 120-125..pushing 115.
My target weight loss is 70-90 pounds. I have 2 comorbidities and I take meds that make me gain weight.

My insurance and the psych. has documentattions that my weight gain is from medicine.

I am a pre-op currently waiting for insurance approval.
