I was most concerned about the easing of restriction and resultant return of frequent hunger... And the finally explains for me the results of the tests that show those blood sugar spikes & resultant crashes that begin to occur in RNY patients.
What was saddest was the fact that while they can correct a stricture, they can't undo the stoma's eventual dilation. That hunger return is inevitable...
Well, if you keep your carbs under 45 day & less than 15 at any one meal... that suppresses appetite.
