I have hypothyroidism, and I totally believe that gives a whole other dimension to weight loss efforts.  Despite eating just 800-1000 calories a day and keeping up with exercise, my weight loss is way low for the last 2 months.

My TSH is testing in the normal range, but at the higher end.  I'm going to try to get a dosage bump when I see my PCP in a week.  I worry that at almost 7 months out, that I'm losing my chance to get to goal.

No.  Not really.  As a non-pro vendor, we don't.  I get the regurge'd stuff later.  Like this!

Thank you so much for posting that. There needs to be so much more research about insulin/glucose.  They really don't know how bypassing this area or this other area affects how we utilitze insulin.
Thanks again for posting that.

Thank you so much for sharing this! It is really nice to hear a doctor who doesn't immediately blame the patient.

It will be really interesting to see if the DS and VSG eventually replace RNY and the lap-band as the preferred surgeries. I'm not sure why they seem so slow to change, I'm sure it has something to do with $$$ (doesn't it always?).

Excellent post, Tom!

I just might copy it for my profile.

SO many people are being victimized by blame for the failure of their surgeries. They need to see this.
