I'm getting too small !?!?

8 more pounds won't make much difference to your family and friends but it will make a huge difference to your head.

I've been told the same thing. I will reach my goal and then reevaulate at that time.

You are right, they've never seen you like this so they think you look terrific at this weight and worry about you going any lower. But do yourself a favour and tell them you appreciate their concern but you have a personal goal and want to reach it and you are mindful of not getting too low.

It's all about you now.

And Congrats on going for another baby.

Thanks so much! I'm glad I posted this today, because I've been so down about the entire situation.  I really appreciate everyone's advice; your postings have made the world of a difference to me !

I'm glad I have the OH Family to share my feelings with

Don't let anyone (other then your doctor) tell you what you should weigh.  It is a personal thing and only you know where you feel best.  As long as you are eating right you will get to where you are supposed to go.
Good luck in the baby department.

Assuming that you get regular labs and your numbers are good, just smile at them and tell them that both you and your doctor are pleased with your results.  Thank them for their concern and tell them you've never felt better.  Then go on to have a great pregnancy with a healthier outcome for you and the baby.

I am 5'9" and weigh around 131 and wear a size 4.   I have NEVER felt better in years.  I am small boned, and this weight is good for me.  I told my doctor my goal was 135, and he was okay with that because it is still in the range for my height, on the low end, but it is still in range.  I shut out everyone's opinion because everyone said it would be waaaaay to low for me.  I quit telling people my goal, even other WLS peers, and plugged along.  We have to do what is right for us, under the supervision of our doctors.  Do what you and your physician feel is right for you and ignore everyone else.  That is my two cents.
