Is hard sugar free candy okay to suck on during post op liquid diet?

Sugar free candy does work way better than Miralax!

 Yes, but keep them  few...they can cause diarrhea...but they are good, drink as much water as you can...

 I had the most painful (for myself and everyone in a three mile radius) gas of my life for two days after a sugar-free Wurther's binge. I won't touch the stuff now. If you have difficulties with that whole "moderation" thing (like I do!), I suggest avoiding them.

My nutritionist and Dietician said sugar free candies, gum can cause major gas and diarrhea (sp) if done post op. I am having THAT issue NOW Preop. So be careful if you do choose to do it, because it could come back to stink ya out later on.
