Guess what is in the bag?????

FERRETS.... namely 3 of my 7 ferrets .... busy, fun, active creatures who bring daily happiness to my family.. all litter trained, groomed, and de-scented they will be featuring their own blog soon to come... (Ferrets are not rodents, they are really part of the Mustelidae family.They are obligate carnivores a ferrets favorite food is meat.) 
Does it relate to my life post WLS ... sure does ... who would think as I stood in this picture 4 years ago making basinetts for mothers in need at the outreach center ...

Who would think I would be living with and loving 7 beautiful ferrets that were added to our family close to a year ago?  I love these critters.... they are awesome to watch, love, play with and CHASE lol ... they have such a sense of community and acceptance amongst each other...

YUP... YOU GUESSED RIGHT ... I HAVE A BAG FULL OF FERRETS LOL

and I just love them ALL ... me this morning with Slinky, Maxwell and Chiquitita ...

and this teeny missy is Chiquitita my dwarf ferret and escape artist ... she has been getting away..

to come lie in my arms and watch TV then she passes out ( geez what a typo ... I typed passes away YIKES).. she is fast asleep snoring with her mouth wide open while I check my email LOL

Maxwell was the first to grab my heart and his sister Petunia ... brought and given to me by My DH and DS when my former pet died...

 I have had the week from HELL starting on Tuesday AFTER I got back from a wonderful breakfast with my beautiful OH sista MSW and her DD... thank goodness for the WILL to embrace joy and MAKE IT HAPPEN... I was getting hit from the right and the left and yesterday I was totally WINDED ... almost fell with the impact but I had to remember that when I fall I fall in position .. I fell to my knees and got up with a prayer and a PRAISE ... thankful for the miracles ahead of time..... 

I was a bit shabby with my journal this week ..... I had pics on Tuesday with MSW and her beautiful DD ... don't know what I did on Monday ... yesterday I forgot but my friend and co-worker reminded me when she asked and she snapped one as I farted around with some reports...  I was frazzled LOL...

OH sista MSW will not Settle and I ... we had bfast with her DD at 5:00 am on Tuesday while she was here for her therapy...

and of course I took a picture of my jacket label ... a Size 2 from The Limited no stretch and with room to spare .. I have been wearing sizes 0-2 for the past 3 years now and maintaining ... it is the size I was when I came to this country at age 22 ... I look pretty much like I looked then although I weighed less then ... but I love the maturity of age and experiences .... to think at one point in life I was wondering why my 4-5X were sooooo tight... I am comfortable here...

 and of course I compared it with my before and since we have ferrets in the picture why not use my before with my beautiful Pomeranian Pompeyo.....

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO POPULATE MY FERRET BLOG WITH ALL THE ADVENTURES OF MY FERRETS ... WHO KNOWS THEY MAY HAVE AN ADDITION SOON...

I'll have to wait until I get home to see the pics.....they don't load at work.  Love the stories about your babies!  I have fur babies, but mine are kitty cats.....love them dearly and they also love any kind of bag to play in....and one LOVES the laundry basket....she sits and waits for me to get the hot clothes out so she can jump in and nap.

 Ohhhhhhh I love cats too ... my ferrets are the closest things to a cat.... HOW MANY KITTY CATS DO YOU HAVE? I bet they are tons of love and fun too..... 

Two calicoes.  Jinkies (a shelter rescue) and Callie (a child of my former cat).  They are both older, one 12 and one 9--Callie is long haired and very petite, Jinkies and short haired and "full figured". 

They are so sweet and they love me and my DH!  I can't imagine not having my fur babies since the kids are all grown and out the nest (not that I'm complaining!  I do love having the house to ourselves!!).

How awesome... how long did you have them for? did you have them till term of life? I hope nothing happens to any of mine before their time is up and even then ... I would be so upset...

Yeah, I had them all for about 6-8 years...way too short for how they steal your heart. They were all litter trained and did many tricks, too!

Your champagne baby looks just like my Mohegan. He was my lil cuddle bug!

Ah ha ha- we had ferrets as pets when we were growing up. Ferrets, a savannah monitor lizard, and an amazon parrot. I used to always ask my parents why we couldn't just have normal pets! LMAO. They are so soft and furry and fun!

 Hey beautiful!!!! WOW ... those were exotic pets ... I would LOVE to have an amazon parrot ...
