What is life like after having WLS

Well, the motto is something that NIKE has--I can't take credit for thinking that one UP. And NIKE shoes got started in the city I live in. Eugene, OR. And guess what my son happens to work for them in Beaverton, OR--that is their World Wide Headquarters--Beaverton is very close to Portland, OR. He has a pretty high up job for them. I will explain more about his job at another time. So I really love that motto--JUST DO IT!.
Thanks for the compliment. I only want to motivate you right now and it seems like you are going in the right direction. NEVER look back. The closer you get to that date, you will become more nervous or scared--hey that is normal, I did it. I thought what in the world am I about to do to myself. I knew intellectually that I was doing the right thing, but my old brain was going into overdrive. If you have those feeling, just send me a note. I will send you my phone number too. You can always call me.
Tomorrow is my 1 year Wedding Anniversary. Bob found me 6 years ago today--when I was fat and loved me then just as much as he does today. He was always there for me 200%. A year ago we got married. So we lived together for about 4 years before we got married. I will tell you more about that whole story another time too. He found me ON Line of all places and we lived in the same town. We met after talking part of one day and the rest is history. He is a fabulous man who I only wished I would have found 40 years ago. We are so very happy and so much in love. We are going to Cannon Beach, OR to spend a few days--that is where we got married 1 year ago on the beach there. I will have my computer so I will stay in touch.

Oh, I LOVE a good love story! How fantastic to have met and fallen in love with a wonderful man and to be so happy! I looked at all your pictures and you make a beautiful couple! :) My hubby and I have been married 28 years. He's always been very loving and supportive, although back about 5 years ago when I first started talking about WLS he was totally against it. Neither of us really knew much about it, or had researched it the way I have this time. So, now he is totally on board. I wish I had taken it more seriously back then. Oh well, my time is now!!!
It's amazing to see the pictures of your weight loss. I can't even imagine being as small as you are now. YOu look GREAT!!!
Yeh, I knew "Just Do It" was/is a Nike slogan. I've always liked it and it REALLY applies to me now. I didn't know they started in Eugene OR. Does you son like his job with them? How do you like living in Eugene? Have you lived there your whole life? How many kids do you have? Questions Questions LOL
I know for sure I am going to be freaking out and doubting myself again before this surgery is behind me. But everyday I become more certain it's the right thing for me. We had a house full of people today (family) and when my sister in law asked if I was going through with the surgery, I said YES, I have decided for sure this is what I want! They all know I've been on the fence for awhile so it felt good to say it. My sister is the one who is giving me the most opposition about the surgery. She lost alot of weight many years ago and has been able to keep it off. She really did change her life, cooks and eats healthy, exercises.... so she doesn't understand why I can't just do what she did. It's ok though! I'll get to the point of a healthy life, eating right and exercising... I'm just doing it a different way than she did!!! To be honest, my sister and I (she's 12 years younger) have never seen eye to eye on MOST things, we're practically opposites. I honestly think she would rather I stay fat. That sounds terrible, but you'd just have to know her.
Well, I know you are having a wonderful time with your hubby at Canon Beach!!! Tell me all about it when you get home.. well, not ALLLLLLL about it. hahaha
