So tired! Whats up with that?

I am so so tired lately and I don't understand why. I am on Vitalady's pre-op vitamin plan as well as Niacin and Omega-3 fish oil for my cholesterol, Claritin for my allergies, Wellbutrin XL and Commit lozenges to quit smoking, Previcid for possible GERD, probiotic to help with IBS (we are hoping). I also take as needed Ibuprofen PM so I can sleep at night (I have FMS) and Imitrex for migraines as needed. Also I take an extra B-6 and B-12 as my family has a history of low B vitamins. I take my iron with vitamin C about 3 hours after my first handful of vitamins so that they don't interfere with the iron absorption.
Anyway, i've been really good for the past 3 weeks about taking all these vitamins and supplements and medications (those for longer than 3 weeks) but I am going to bed exhausted and waking up just as exhausted. I have issues with insomnia anyway (hence the ibuprofen PM) so this is not making it easier.
Has anyone else had this problem pre-op where instead of helping it seemed like taking all the vitamins made things worse? I don't know if that is what is actually going on because I am so tired i can't tell. And it just seems that EVERYTHING makes me even more tired. I don't want to quit the vitamins since a.) I will need to be taking them AFTER the surgery for the rest of my life and b.) I KNOW that they do help eventually and I need to stick with it until my body gets used to getting all the nutrients it needs. Seriously I dont want to have to add something to give me a "pick-me-up" or go back to drinking a pot of coffee a day by myself but I have to be able to function and right now I can barely do that. All I want to do is sleep for a week.

Could it be apnea? I was exhausted all the time because of the sleep disruptions.

How's your iron level?  I, also, been feeling wiped out lately.  When I had my lab work done,  my pcp saw that my ferrin(part of the iron componets) was through the roof.  One of the symptoms is exhaustion.

They didn't check my ferritin level on my last labs (done in March) but my RCB is 4.74 which looks to be about midrange.

How long have you been taking the Claritin? Anything like that wipes ME out.

I have allergies (cats which we have 2 of) so I have been taking the claritin daily for a little over 3 years. (He would get rid of me before the kittehs I'm sure). I make sure I get the non-drowsy stuff from the doc so I am not sure that's it. If it doesn't get any better soon I will make another appointment with my pcp and see if we can get ALL my labs checked to see whats up that way.

I often found that those ibuprofen pm always left me groggy and exhausted.  I second the apnea thing... my husband was recently diagnosed and using the machine has made all the difference!

Claritin does that to me but I don't know what you could take in stead.

Also, you could switch from Ibuphron PM to a sleep aid wo the ibuphron like Simply Sleep.
