Hey Carrie! :)  What is "zorbing"? I am emphatically intrigued by anything that starts with a "z".  LOL j/k,  but really...

Zorbing is great fun!  Like being in a giant hamster wheel rolling down the hill.  You can either do the soft ball with water or a solid one where you are strapped in.  They say the only places in the world with "real" zorbs and tracks are in New Zealand and Pigeon Forge, TN, although I know there are other places that have little pretend starter versions.

Lisa - you look beautiful, BTW!

Thanks Carrie - and thanks for the zorbing info!!!  OMG that is SO something I would do if it were available to me.  I wonder if the annual County Fair has a wannabe zorb track I can try for starters. :)

Hi,

You do spend more AFTER the weight loss.  But to start with you have saved money.  And there is no amount of money that will make up for your great health.  These are choices that you make when you do spend more money.  I just wanted people to see that there can be a savings and to go ahead and have the WLS.

Congratulations on your great success.  And I am like you, I am busy and I shop more.

Hugs,
Suzanne

I spend waaaaaaay more now - those $0.99 menu items were cheap compared to my uber-expensive taste in rich, healthy foods now LOL.  Not to mention my obscene shopping expenditures on new clothes and shoes.  But ask me if I care...NOPE.  Was it worth it...YES! I finally love who I am, fully and completely...and I deserve nice things for myself, food or otherwise!  I am a self-pay too BTW (my revision was $12,500).  But your point is definitely taken!  Thanks for taking the time to post this...

Zorbing is when you roll around, especially down hill in those big clear balls.  Looks like a kick in the pants, but I get dizzy easily so I'm not trying it.

Skydiving, yes (hopefully next month!).  Zorbing no.

I want to do zorbing ever since I saw it on The Amazing Race but there is no place around here.

You can only zorb in New Zealand or Pigeon Forge, TN (the town I live in) at this time. :(  I don't know why, it is so much fun, I am sure it would be popular anywhere, but I am sure the $80 price tag scares some people.

Hi,

And you have GREAT healthy and the money that you spent to get it is something you wouldn't trade for anything.  I wanted people to see that you can save money by having the surgery.  But, you are right, most of us spend a lot more after we have lost that weight, but that is our choice to do it and we deserve to have what we want--I agree there.  I never regret any shopping I have done.

Hugs,
Suzanne
