I don't know what's wrong with me lately! I'm sad and unmotivated, I have no ambition to do anything! That's just not my norm. Not to mention that I have gained 9 pounds and I'm so stressed about it that I can't seem to focus or concentrate on anything else! It seems like the more I try to focus on what I eat the more stressed out I get. I just need some encouragement and help refocusing and getting these extra pounds off! I had RNY In 09/08 and did really well for a while.

Sounds like it might be time to see a doc about the depression. Many times there is a chemical imbalance that can be corrected with the proper medication. As far as the refocusing on your weight, have you looked at the "Back on Track Together" group? They seem to be quite successful in helping a lot of folks. Here's the link:

Good Luck and Take Care. And I'm serious about the doc. The sooner you address it the sooner it will get better. Hang in there. =)

Depression is a horrible beast. Among other things, it packs on weight (or causes weight to fall off, but usually in people who can't affort to lose weight) and sucks you into a black hole where just surviving against its gravitational pull takes everything you have. Please, go to a doctor and see if depression treatment is something you need. It could make all the difference in the world.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am definitely going to go see my doc. And I am going to check out the website suggested as well. Iv'e also been told to get my thyroid levels checked out and I'm going to do that too. I know I can get through this and I appreciate every bit of support from my friends here on OH!

FIRST, you need your labs done.  There are any number of deficiencies that could be causing these problems and too often, RnY surgeons don't follow up this long and PCPs are clueless and don't test enough.

Have you had everything on Vitalady's list tested...how are your B vitamins?

ETA...and your iron.  How's your iron?  And even your HGB?  Any of those might show the source of your problems.
