Hello everyone. I have been haveing major issues. I have had headaches/migraines since last Thursday. I have even blacked outfrom them. After being to an ER for a spinal tap and ct then getting a spinal headache from the tap and haveing it for a week. Seeing my PCP and my neuro. dr and being to the ER two more times. I finally got a blood patch and it has helped my headache. I am haveing a MRI tuesday. Maybe we can figure out why i keep getting migraines.

I am NOT Andera BUT I had "migranes" for 3 years and was treated for them. well I changed pcp's and guess what?? I have a MASS in my brain that will require radation treatments!! The mass is between my 2 caroid arteris with the brain stem right behind it!! the 5th I see the nero surgeon to see what the next is!!I he said where the mass is located there is NO room for error!!
so my advice to you is.. MAKE sure you are having migranes!!

I'm a migraine sufferer, and usually they don;t just pop up, if you've never had them before...
So, if this is something new, than yes..Please, as everyone else said, get it checked out.
True migraines (I started having them at age 4 or 5) only Fioricet or Imitrex helps and only if I feel it coming on and can take my meds in time...Otherwise I am stuck with it for a couple of days.
but what you describe, (something that pops up that is new or you never had before) doesn't sound like a true migraine...Maybe a cluster headache or something else...Migraines don't make you black out.
Good luck, and hope you get some help!
Warmly,
Jackie
