Hi Suzanne,
Please don't be offended, but I broke your paragraphs up so it would be easier to read.  ONLY Done with GOOD INTENTIONS. You have some very good information here and having it split up will make it EASIER TO READ.  Please feel free to CCP it if you like (I didn't change anything except the paragraphing and the size).  If you choose to CCP it, I will DELETE so as not to look repetitious...and...so the CREDIT for good information goes to YOU ONLY.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EDITED TO ADD:  I see you broke up your paragraphs, so I DELETED my CCP of your post just as I said I would.
Hi,
Thanks, you are so right.  I to write like I talk--and you aren't the only person to tell me I do that.
I want people to know I am a real person and these things happen, but no matter what we are going to be very successful.  We have ALL overcome a lot to get where we are right now.  I am so very proud of your accomplishment.  It takes a strong person to make these choices.  You are doing something that is going to add years to your life and you are going to feel 20 years younger!   I am talking to you!  I had some ladies who were great help to me in my journey and I wanted to be able to help others understand what was going on and they were scared to ask some of these questions.  There are NO bad questions only the ones you don't ask.
I too thank you for sharing this info.  I am scheduled for RNY on 5/18.  I find that I am on this site at least twice as much as Facebook.   I became hooked on the Before & After pictures .   The info (good & bad) that "losers"  share is much appreciated.....
Hi,
I am glad that you took the time to read some or all of what I wrote.  I remember when I was going to have my surgery and I wanted to read all I could find about what I was going to do.
I was so much like you that I enjoyed looking at the Before and After pictures.  I wanted to be just like them and now I am.  I am excited that you are going to have surgery.  Congratulations on making your choice.
Hugs.
Thx..  I hope you don't mind me asking this question.  It isn't  meant in any way to be disrespectful to any other person, but I am close to your starting weight and basically have the same goal.  I have read some postings on OH that seem to indicate that the weight comes off a little slower when you start out with a little less to lose than some one else.  I do realize that each person's bodily response to WLS be uniquely individual.  How did you progress?  How long did it take you to reach your goal?
Hi,
Not a problem at all for asking these kind of questions.  That is what I post information for and to let people know I am more than happy to answer you questions
This is how my weight loss went.  It should answer all your quesitons.  I did notice that the closer I got to my goal--say the last 10 or 15 pounds I had to work harder to get it to come off.  I had to stay with in the 800 calories a day and that is what I ate most of the time.  But, I had to exercise a lot more too.
I had my seelve on 10/21/2008 and Dr. Aceves was my doctor.  I highly recommend him.  He really was there every step of the way if I had any questions.  He and his staff are #1 in my book to do your WLS.
Hugs,
Suzanne
Hi Jenny,
Well, I realize it is a little long, but I was trying to cover a lot of subjects.  I will work on a short version for the future readers.
I hope that you picked up some information that was helpful.  Keep up the good work.  You will be so happy about your choice that you have made.
Hugs,
