OT Too Many Life Changes All At Once?

It isn't mine and his relationship that is the problem. The problem is that he feels like my 18 year old daughter looks down on him and she feels like he compares her to every other teenager out there. The problem is that she is my daughter and while she may be graduating next month she isnt ready just yet to be on her and since I don't want her to feel like i am dumping her for "just another guy" I will need to move into an apartment until she is ready to be on her own. Because I don't want him to kick her out after graduation and her have no place to go. My feeling is that if he dumps her then he is dumping me too because he knows she isnt mature enough to be on her just yet. Its just a quandry and I am dealing as best as I can. l am suggesting that my kiddo get some therapy though because thanks to her biological father she's got issues but then my BF is a former Marine and thinks the world needs to run on Marine standards and he has issues too so maybe we all need a therapist.... sigh

 I say take the Wii.  You can use it along your wls journey.  It's great for exercise!

HA! I was already planning on getting the Wii fit or something for just that very reason

I don't know how fair he is but he most certainly can PAY you for some of these things at least in part since you did get some enjoyment out of them as well. Sometimes a bunch of changes at once is a good thing. It sort of gets lumped into one for you and often for the kids as well. It won't be so many little things when you look back. It will be the time when your life changed dramatically and hopefully for the better.
 
Oh... and take the Wii. He can get another and tell the little girl that her dad is going to get another one since your daughter won't have ANYTHING and she has to change her whole life. While she's making new friends she's going to need something to stop from being bored.
