Hi Everyone,

Every now and then I come up with some reasons of how WLS has changed my life.  Most people who have never been fat, wouldn't think of these reasons.

1.  I don't worry about where to sit at a picnic or on an airplane.

2.  I have  reduce my blood pressure.

3.  I don't ever want to feel my fat jiggle again!

4.  My pants won't wear out between my legs while the rest of them are still in good shape.

5.  I can look in the mirror from the neck down and like what I see.

6.  I can wear tight jeans.

7.   I can  wear underwear that looks cute and dainty, not something industrial.

8.  I can get dressed every morning is a joy and not a dreaded chore.

9. I can cross my legs.--that was a real big one for me when I could do this.

10.  I can get on with my life!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally concur.
and I might add.....
I can tie my shoes and still breath.
I can take PE classes at the age of 54 and keep up with the kids at school.
I can turn around safely and properly when driving to check if the lane next to me is safe to merge into.
I can find a wear cute shoes.
I can walk faster than my chihuahuas.
I can run up stairs and I now hate elevators.
It costs very little to go out to eat.

Hi,

I have so many of these same things on my list.  I have a lost of over 100 things that I have come up with.  YES, when I go out and eat we always share something.  I have also learned that is is OK to toss the food out if I am not going to eat it all.

Hugs and CONGRATULATIONS to you Toooooooooooo!!!!!

ok this one might be to much for some people but I think that we have all been there.

Surgery helped me change my life because now I actually sneeze and not leak! And this makes me very happy!

Oh, no that one is a perfect one.  I can relate to that, but I had a bladder tuck a few years before to repair my leaks.  Isn't it grand to NO long leak.

I loved it thanks for sharing.

Take care,

my number one was when I could get the tray down on an airplane without it being at an angle because my huge gut was in the way. I cried when it came down and I had to move it closer to me.

Hi, It is amazing when it is the small things in life, that make us so happy.  Now those skinny people have no idea what things makes us happy that our bodies, and how our lives are changing and we are becoming healthy.  I NEVER take anything for granted anymore.  I feel so very lucky to have all the things I have and so blessed to have worked hard to lose 105 pounds.

Congratulations to you.  I love all these things I am hearing from all of you!!!!
