This is from their website explaining why their SF italian ices have carbs:
The majority of the carbohydrates in these flavors come from ingredients such as sugar alcohols and maltodextrin, which is derived from corn. Sugar alcohol and maltrodextrin contribute calories and carbohydrates, but no sugar. These ingredients are important in maintaining the consistency and stability of our products during freezing. Also, their smallest size is a "kids size" and it has 27-49 grams of carbs. Not sure if that matters to you or not. Regular size is 43 to 79 grams. Large is 68 to 124 grams. I just wanted to mention this to you in case you are concerned about carbs.
Yes they do, however, I have found that to be the one thing that causes me to react in an icky way! I believe the sugar alcohols in it are very high, and I may be reacting to that from the icky symptoms everyone talks about. Go slowly! I only had the child's size one, and it left me within the hour (tmi)
