Penzey Spices
I have on near my house and love it. What are your fav penzey spices?

I order from their catalogs and love love love their recipes. I visited a Penzey's while in Pittsburgh a few years ago and my boyfriend almost couldn't drag me out of there! I love the cinnamon and vanilla, and of course I am in love with the Arizona Dreaming. You can put that on most anything at all. I love all of their spices actually!

I too LOVE Arizona Dreaming!! It goes on all meats and veggies around my house. I usually don't like anything but butter on my corn on the cob, but this makes it even better. Same thing with my baked potato's, green beans, and asparagus. Love love love it!!
The cinnamon is also a fave, and I like their blend the best.
Others: Tuscon sunset, the oregano (either blend), the chili seasoning, and the one that got us started on Penzeys: Taco Seasoning. We buy that one (along with most others) in the big bulk bag and refill our jars as needed. But the Taco and Chili seasoning we just keep in the bags.
Some of my favorite recipes have come from their catalogs too. Fall of 2009 they had a "Creamy Fall Slaw" that is wonderful. I can't stand cole slaw at all, and I love this one! I've never had a recipe from them that isn't terrific!

I hate to say, "ALL OF THEM", but I honestly have 30-50 in my house. Faves are Northwoods Fire, Ozark, Vietnamese cinnamon, cake spice (both great in coffee and shakes), cracked black Tellicherry pepper, dried jalapeno pepper, Arizona Dreaming, Natural Cocoa Powder, and smoked Paprika (although every brand of smoked paprika I've tried has been great!),

I looked on Penzey's web site to see if there was a store near you. The only ones in CA are near San Francisco and LA.
You can go to their web site and order online. That's how I did it for a couple of years. The box they come in always smell good because they fill the empty spaces with bay leaves and cinn. sticks. They are terrific. I have replaced all my other spices with Penzey's.
