Does WLS help with
Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I have Fibromyalgia and have this as a symptom. I am wondering if the wls will help with that or if it will still be something I live with since it is connected with FMS? And of course I plan to ask my doc about it as well but I am looking more for ancedotal advice from those who have been through this and may have some idea of how it affected them.

I doubt that you will get much more than each person's outcome. Each surgery has some issues that rerouting and/or removing small bowel dictates. The main factor will be your own body and the meds you take for other conditions and the diet you eat, and your current IBS.
I only hope the BEST outcome for you. Do talk to both your WLS and GI docs about this in detail...and IF possible (maybe through a Skpye type hook-up at one office or the other TOGETHER with them. It's not unheard of these days...called teleconferencing. To not have a bad/undesired outcome, I'd sure do it.
