rasing both hands here, it will be a sad day to woman if they allow even one woman to lose the freedom of choice by their ban.

I have never needed them for me, but i think anyone should have the freedom of choice to do so and not have that come down to only if you can afford insurance...

It would be a major step backwards for the women in america if they push this through...

Hi!!

I am very much against abortion, however I do think its great that they educate young women and teach them how to protect themselves against getting pregnant.

back when I was in my 20s and dirt poor, I could still afford a pap smear at Planned Parenthood.  certainly couldn't have otherwise.

both hands up here!

and the person who posted that PP "advised" her to get an abortion? liar, liar pants on fire!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Raising them both high!

Without PP, I wouldn't have had access to birth control when I was a college student, and would likely have ended out pregnant and unwed. They also made it possible for me to have regular Pap smears when I was without insurance.

Raising both of my hands in the air!!!!

I used PP services as a poor college student that could not afford health care.  PP was my only form of health care for years. I am thankful for PP because simple issues like uti could resulted in God's knows what...

Unfortunately, the battle is not over! An attempt will be made again in the fall to cut PP and other crucial programs like Headstart. Government  programs were instrumental in my life. I stand here today as a teacher/ adjunct professor owing my movement up the ladder to tons of gov't programs!
Headstart, PP, Pell grants, FHA, and the list goes on and on!!!!!
YEA, Gov't is good!!!!

Raising both hands here.

I'm very passionate about the value of PP to disadvantaged women.  I certainly couldn't have afforded consistent health care for a number of years without them.  Even after I had insurance I went to them for a while because I learned that by using their services at their full fee, I helped to subsidize care for others.
