Yesterday's post regarding Planned Parenthood got some people ranting about what a waste of taxpayer's money it was though, how providing birth control and health care for women is WASTE, I have no idea.

But since some people need examples of TRUE government pork, here are some pork barrel projects from 2010. Keep in mind that these are YOUR taxes dollars at work!

i find that people always whine and cry about paying for government services that they don't personally use. but when it comes to the ones they do, then its a matter of entitlement. people need to face reality and realize that our government is for everybody, and yes, that means that they won't like every nickel that gets spent.

It's all pork, and unfortunately this also includes gov subsidized women's health programs. PP should be left to the charitable contributions of the private sector, not because of any personal moral stance but because it falls outside the roll of US government.

Poor ole PP is being used as a political pawn by both Dems and Reps right now.  If this org was left alone to sole private support, PP would be a non issue and what good would that do for anyone in DC?

Maybe they are trying to make the potato low carb and high in proteins? I could eat it then... not now...
