How do you post a link

How do you post a link to a topic that was discussed earlier?

Open the topic or web page that you want to link to on your screen. Copy the web address in the bar at the top (highlight, control+C).

Then, simply open the reply/post you want to make, and hit control+V:

Then, highlight the URL/web address you just pasted in your reply/post box, and click the link button above the reply/post box. It looks like a little earth icon, right next to the smiley icon. A small window will pop up, control+V (paste) the URL a second time into that box, click ok. Now the link will turn blue, meaning anyone will be able to just click on it to go to the page you want.
