Body Shapers to suck in all that saggy skin!!!
So friends... I'm down to 190lbs for a total of 135lbs lost. And seriously, there's a lot of saggy skin around my midsection that's just not flattering.
You know what I'm taking about. It's like... you've got the ability to have a flat midsection, but NOOOOO your skin is so saggy that what fat you do have left, well it bluges out in all the places you wi**** didn't. And... I can't wear leggings pulled up to my boobs EVERYDAY so, I've got to find a decent body shaper to wear on those days I just really want to wear my low rise skinny jeans or that cute little summer dress!
HELP! I don't even know where to begin, what type to look at or try on. I know there are lots to choose from...so please, WLSers... help a girl out here and fill me in on what body shapers you are in love with!
My biggest problem area is my mid section. I can live with my legs and arms saggin... but it's my muffin top I want to hide!
Thanks in advance!!

So, I wear a cami from Wal-mart daily. It has not lycra in the boob area and then there is about a 2 inch band at the bottom that does not have as much lycra. They come in a variety of colors and some even have lace at the top and the bottom. I have some pain that feels better with compression which is why I originally started wearing them, but now I feel naked with out the little bit of compression. I always tuck them into my pants and it smooths the lower tummy too.
When I am wearing a dress or need a little more I use http://www.maidenform.com/flexees/solutions/wear-your-own-bra/flexees-weightless-power-wear-your-own-bra-wyob-singlet-5056. It is a singlet with short, that DO NOT ROLL UP! The top part allows you to wear your own bra so as not to squish the girls. I have seen these for over $50, but I picked mine up at Wal-mart for under $30 and I LOVE it!

Girl, these are the 2 items I could not live without. I wear the tanks everyday. I did try the ones with lace but kept sticking my thumbs through the bottom band, tre annoying.
The singlet is super - GREAT control over the midsection and does not roll. I bought mine at Walmart under the Sweet Nothings brand. The tanks are 15 and the unitard is 20.

Maidenform is my absolute favorite brand (they make the Flexees). I wear the tank top style camis almost EVERY day. I also have a few of the Wear Your Own Bra styles (though I still wear a bra under the camis, too). The ones with strong/firm support are enough to control my midsection so my excess skin doesn't give me the muffin top effect. If you have an outlet center anywhere nearby, check to see if there's a Maidenform outlet store - I have one near me, and they mark stuff down a few bucks, plus everything on their clearance racks is an additional 50% off the lowest price, so I check there frequently. Otherwise, places like Kohls and Target often run buy one, get one 50% off on the Flexees.
I have a couple of the more expensive brands, but they don't do anything more (and some are actually less comfortable), so I don't bother with the more expensive brands anymore.

I definitely recommend the Spanx. I have been wearing body shapers for years. Even before WLS. I have tried many different brands and styles. Spanx has something to offer for every kind of outfit. I usually only have to wear the panty style shapers. They have a low hip line (so no visible panty lines) and the waist comes up high enough to tuck under my bra so that I don't get the bulge in between the shaper and the bra. It completlely smoothes and shapes my midsection and give a little lift to my butt too. My cheeks are pretty saggy now too. They also make tanks, biker short styles, leggings for under jeans and slacks, and slips. They are pricy, but last a long time, they are well made, and they have given me the best visual effects. :)
Go to a good department store (Lord and Taylor, Nordstrom).....and try on a bunch of different brands. They have Spanx (I agree with Emily - best on the market - no seams - comfortable and worth every penny) as well as Flexees etc. Try them on there in a nice fitting room with good lighting....to get a sense of how different styles of shapers work with your body type. Then.......go to Target or Walmart or Marshalls etc. and find things in that style if you don't want to pay department store prices. Or if you find one that's perfect....look on Ebay (write down style numbers etc. when you're trying on) I just recently bought a full price spanx tank (for bellydancing) and then found a few more on ebay - new with tags - for 1/3 the cost.
