Oh My, I'm Eating...........
Hey ,
Now you know that Our Dear Lord works in ways we do not understand. Those poor kids have it rough, BUT the Lord has you working to make their life for the better. Randall, you are a blessing. I will be praying for you my friend. I will be thinking about you when you have your surgery. I actually go for my anesthesia consult that day.
BTW I just love cottage cheese. I will have to hide it from my kids since they love it too!
Stay Blessed and God Speed!
Hugs,
Tracy
Hello Randall,
I can understand what you're going through. I've been there and done that... If you're willing to take those children in, then you have to fight for them... I know it's easier said then done, but it CAN be done. I fought for my grandson from the time he was 1 year old and got him because his mother was a druggy. I did every thing I had to track her down and then had the DCYF involved and meanwhile got myself a lawyer and because the DCYF knew we were willing to take him, they helped us the best they could. We fought and fought until we finally was able to adopt him and that was when he just turned 5, he is 7 now... It was the best thig we ever did! Mine you my youngest child was 27, so we started all over again, but I wouldn't have it any other way. He is happy and healthy. He is the main reason I want to go through WLS. I want to be here when he grows up. I want to be able to play ball or whatever he wants to do...
You go and fight for those children... I can tell you are a loving and compassionate man.
Sorry if I came across a little too strong. This is something that is dear to me. Children are so innocent.
Sorry, I just had to throw in my 2 cents...
Good luck!
Joanne B.
Hi Randall,
I have eaten cottage cheese every day since surgery and it's been over a year. I did not eat it before surgery. I like to mix the cottage cheese with S/F jello. I use different flavors and I can't believe I never get tired of eating it. I have it for breakfast. For me it is just such a convenient way for me to get protein at breakfast.
Randall,
Is it really that good? I too tried it as a child and HATED it. I am so afraid to try it again. I can't stand yogurt. I tried it after my surgery just to see if I would like it, but I don't. I want to eat stuff that is good for me, but I'm afraid. It looks so gross!
Maybe I will get a whim and buy some just to try it! I'll let you know!
