COTTAGE CHEESE!!!!! The other night I post that I had tried cottage cheese as a child and hated it. I'm sitting here eating it on a slice of tomatoe and I LOVE IT!!! It is sooooo good. I went to the store earlier this week and put it in my buggy and then put it back on the shelf in a shutter of being grossed out by my rememberance of it's taste and texture as a kid. I went back tonight and just in a whim got it and said what the heck. I'm glad I got it! I know it'll be part of my diet for days to come!! Randall 10 days and counting!

If you read my repost about advice for the non-op you will see I eat about 1 cup a day at the least...you can add fruit, veggies, salt pepper etc. I usually like mine plain and with some kind of beef or chicken on the side. I also used it as a dip for my pork rinds the other night...I think I am scaring myself

Some day you can have it with crushed pineapple. I love it that way! Debbie

ok, ok... so it's not exactly the 'dark side' - it's the 'white curd side'

Randall, I couldn't stand it as a child either but I have loved it as an adult. I chop up cucumber, tomato, purple onion or green onion and bell pepper and put it in the cottage cheese and then sprinkle with a little salt and course ground black pepper. That is my favorite lunch of all times. Patty
