Can you provide additional information?  What was your starting weight, surgery weight and current weight?  How much do you want to lose?  We could answer your question better if we knew the answer to those questions.

Those who have 100-125 lbs or so to lose are not going to lose as quickly as someone who has 200 lbs to lose.  The first thing you need to do is to stop comparing yourself with anyone else.  It will drive you nuts.  Second, if weiging yourself regularly is going to frustrate you then put away (or throw away) the scale.

Finally, patience is the key to a successful journey.

There is only one question you should be tooling around in your head everyday.....well two......and the one you asked isn't one of them. The questions you need to ask yourself.....have I met my protein and water/hydration goals? Have I moved my body. Nothing else! It doesn't matter one bit what other people have lost - as others have pointed out - more weight lost might mean they started with much higher BMIs. Even if they didn't....if you're doing the two things I mentioned - protein goals and exercise......you will lose what you will lose.. Oh...and one other thing...read on OH daily. In the long run you'll do better if you never drift away thinking you have it all figured out. Those of us who are further out will tell you that. Stay connected. Susan
