I love my outcome and have a wonderful life with my band and have been at my goal weight for over 4 yrs with no complications, no fills since 06.  I'm so happy and it was the perfect WLS for me. I knew I didn't need malabsorption and I couldn't be happier with my choice to have a surgery where my anatomy hasn't been cut or altered.  I just needed a little help to not just lose but maintain my loss.  I do realize that many have issues and I feel bad for that but I can't help the fact that I have had amazing success.  I hope they can continue to study and make improvements to the band.

She is having an AMAZING recovery Heather.  She really is well enough to go home tonight, but she has to wait till morning.

How are you doing ?

Yup, getting rid of that thing will make you feel amazing instantly.

Is she home now?  Hope she feels better!

I was ready to run out of the clinic after having my band removed. It was so nice to BREATHE again without pain. It's crazy what we can get used to... pain and puking... and it becomes "acceptable."   And then you realize after band removal how bad it REALLY was.

Hope the kiddo heals up fast.
