I'm broken
Talk to Patel, or better yet, Dr. Baltasar in Alcoy Spain.
Honestly I have no idea if the surgery failled the patient or if they didn't make the necessary changes in their lifestyle, etc. I could not gleem must from their original post and didn't see anything on "latests posts" to help me fill out the missing pieces.
However, I just wanted to say to you that I think it was great that you posted in Lora's defense. While I respect Diane's passion for the DS, I too, felt her email to Lora was also rooting for her failure.
Regardless of our surgery types, we ALL have a common struggle and I sincerely mean this when I say I would love for ALL of us on the OH board to have 100% long-term success.
If it is all you can muster to anonymously get on the internet for support, I'm not surprised you've failed.
I do hope you keep trying, and I agree with one of the posters above *****commended reaching out for support in a real way. That probably does not include deleting the post that actually has any information someone could use to help you or attacking anyone who says anything to you other than "poor baby".
Some people fail themselves (in life, not just in WLS) by insisting on playing the victim and not taking responsibility for their lives and conditions. Even in cases when something bad you're dealing with isn't your fault, it's a very rare occasion indeed where your problems can be solved without resolve and hard work on your part. I hope you come to the conclusion that you need to find a way forward for yourself. Good luck to you.
