Anyone Heard of Lipodern injections?

A friend of mine is going to a weight loss clinic and she was telling me about something called Lipodern.  They are injections that are supposed to aid in the fat-burning process.  She gets one injection a week, along with a B12 injection.
   I have gotten b12 before, but I hadn't even heard of Lipodern (lipoden? Lipozene?).  She has now lost 30 pounds in a little more than 3 months.

I'm curious about it. Anyone know anything?  Anyone had the shots, or planning on getting the shots? Does it work?  I mean, it seemed to for her...

My niece gets a b-12 and a lipoderm injection under the supervision of a weight loss doctor. She follows a low carb diet (under 20 grams of carbs) and has lost 51 lbs. The program is 90.00 a week. I think is called Medi weight loss. She is only 14 and this was a "last resort" effort for her and her parents.
