 I can feel the love on this one.... 

I could say I've "Dumped" with my vsg, but then I look at the type of  food I ate.. example: Mexican,  and think back to myself pre-op......

YEP Same **** literally... happened pre op as well!!

I also think some folks claim to have dumping when they don't really. Some of us just don't react well to junk food after having been away from it for an extended period of time. In my pre-op dieting days, I would cut out fast food cold turkey in an effort to get healthier. A few months later, I would cave and hit the drive-through. After eating the junk food, I would get ill - sometimes nauseau, sometimes weak and/or shaky, sometimes diarrhea, sometimes heavy grogginess, sometimes racing heartrate...any one or combination of these symptoms that could be considered symptoms of dumping. However, once I continued eating the food and my body got used to it again the symptoms would subside, and I could go back to eating the junk as I always had. Thus, I never called it dumping, just my body's way of telling me it didn't like the junk food. The same applies for me today as a post-op.
