I need some ideas for what kind of gift to give at a bridal shower...Just some general information: She is of the Mormon faith, very modest type...She is in her early 20's...Do you give gifts just for the Bride or something for the two of them that they can use in their home? Nothing expensive, price range 25 dollars...Give or take...Would really appreciate some ideas...Thanks!!!

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only TRUE FRIENDS will leave footprints in your heart...And may that friendship have such a ONENESS that when one weeps the other will taste salt...Friends are like balloons ; once you let them go you can't get them back....So I'm going to tie you to my heart so I never lose you.

When I am on a budget and I need to get something for a wedding shower I usually go with little kitchen gadgets. Spatulas, measuring cups/spoons, plastic mixing bowls, etc. I then either just put everything in a big bag or I get a water pitcher or bucket and put everything in there with a big bow.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

If the Bridal Shower is non-specific, you can often ask the hostess of the event for suggestions when you r.s.v.p.  Traditionally, the "shower" is to bestow gifts on the Bride that she will need in her new role.  I have given an array of gifts depending how well I know the Bride. I have given modest but lovely nightgowns,  special cookbooks,  pic-nic baskets with pic-nic ware inside, and picture frames, all with gift reciepts in the box.
Hope this helps.

At my bridal shower almost four years ago, I found that I actually enjoyed the practical gifts a bit more - someone actually gave me cleaning products, and I thought that was just awesome (but I'm a clean freak, so...)

You can't go wrong with kitchen items, really - maybe a nice set of dish towels, a small appliance like a juicer or a blender, a nice set of dishes, things like that.

Also, some people really enjoy gift cards. Did she register anywhere?

Try this link and see if you can find it www.google.com/images
If you can't find it let me know, and I can try to find it later on.. I have to heft up my pounds of ground round right now and head out to the gym for a bit.

It's in Japan somewhere, which means I need to save up and go to Japan, kick some people out of that house and move my stuff in.
