Nervous Mindless Animal Cracker Snacking After Decision to Put Dad in Hospice

I just went through this with my mother. It really hurt to see everything disconnected. They kept her clean,hydrated, and comfortable, if she appeared to be in pain, they gave her pain meds., but it was the hardest thing I ever did.  I took comfort with bliss mint chocalate. I figured, I;m already vomiting from stress, at least i can make it taste better. she passed away december 11th. now i am 15 pounds heavier, still sad, and addicted to mint chocalate!

Thank you all for sharing; I realize this decision is one many of us have or are facing. It's a very sad time. In the realm of life, animal crackers aren't really so bad, right?

I prayed for you all and for peace for you all.  Hopice is a wonderful during such a sad time.  They eased my mother to God with grace.  Loris
