"Speak to me Toothless One, I can smell your voice anywhere in the night."

My dad used to say that when any one of us in my family would fart and wouldn't claim it.

Love a good fart or poop post. Always makes me giggle. Then, my fellow cube dwellers are wondering what I'm up to.

Take care,

well, this is right up my alley....and what a stinky one it is!!! My gas is unbelievable!!! Usually it is brought on by carbs and the sugar so if I'm out to dinner with a friend, I try to avoid the carbs...but if I'm out with my husband, I'm not as worried because he's been exposed to the worst of the gas.

Lately it's gotten really bad while at the gym....I try to hold it in but when on the elliptical, it just slips out.  Last night at zumba class I was tearing it up and thankful that I was in a corner of the gym all by myself so no one had to suffer.

Onederland..... life is grand!!! WELL IT WAS WHEN I WAS THERE; NOW LIFE SUCKS!
I bleed Black n' Gold....STEELER FOOTBALL.....it's in my soul!

If you want the rainbow you've got to put up with the rain!!!

I'm still preop, but aspartame does that to me, big time.

Sugar doesn't cause gas for me, but starchy carbs do (think anything with grains, potatoes, corn, etc.). I avoid rice, pasta, breads, pizza crust, potato products (fries baked, mashed, whatever)...although I will say that popping a Gas-X Prevention (not regular Gas-X, but specifically Gas-X Prevention) helps a lot for me.

Thank you all for your posts.  I am going to try harder to avoid the carbs---just when I found a whole grain bread I liked. Darn it anyhow.
