OT: The Birth!
Here's the short version (because no one has picked up my pain pills yet):
Just got home today. Went into the hospital Wednesday night. Had the baby Thursday morning.
I was in labor, fully dilated, for eight hours, at which point they concluded that no baby of any size would ever be able to fit through my pelvis. Prior to reaching this conclusion, every time I pushed through a contraction, my poor baby was banging her head on a **** ton of bones and her heart rate was dropping to under 70 (from 160+).
They rushed me to the OR for a c-section. Once they had me opened up, they discovered that my abdomen was full of scar tissue - and I mean 100% full - even my uterus was covered in scar tissue and basically the baby had no room to move. They had to retract EVERYTHING to get her out.
I lost huge amounts of blood and received 12 hours worth of blood transfusions. Finally released and home today.
Baby was 100% fine 100% of the time and really, that's all that matters.

Proud mama of Mischa and Gabriel, both born post-op.
Oh momma, she is SO pretty. You did good! Truly, she is a beauty.
My sincerest congratulations! There is nothing more wonderful than a healthy baby. It makes just about everything worth it. I hope you'll take gentle and good care of yourself. You've been through a lot.
