i wanted to update since it has been awhile, especially after my Gallbladder removal.

I'm still 5'3, I weiggh around 130 and am a bodybuilding nut at the gym (Not a lot of cardio, but a lot of HEAVY weights and dumbellls! Think, Legg press around 300 lbs+ etc)

I currently as of today wear a size 4-6 depending on the brand...i have no ass anymore, but my shoulders and biceps are pretty strong and defined. remember...Vanity sizing! I guage my "progress" by how much weight I can deadlift and work out....AND, how HEALTHY I feel!

Body size will always change depending how often I lift/gym, whether I am doing judo or not, a lot of dog training or not (It's winter....I'm hungrier and don't get outside as much).

In misses (Juniors??) I wear a size 7. So there ya go. It varies from store to store and brand to brand,

Warmly,
Jackie

All of these sizes are very interesting to me. I am 5'9".  I started at 290 pounds and wore an 18... occasionally a 20. Now I am at 260 and I wear a 16 to 18. My best friend is about three inches shorter than me and 180 pounds and wears a size 16. I feel like I am built more muscular and solid than most girls are.

Yup, sizes are TOTALLY weird. I'm 221lb at 5'5", and I have size 18 (Walmart) and 16 (Old Navy) jeans that are getting fairly loose. But even though I could probably wear 14 jeans from ON, my bra band is a 44, which seems way out of proportion against a size 14, so proportion and how you carry your weight is probably a factor. (Whooo back fat!)

My surgeon jokes that I must have adamantium bones or something, because every time I've weighed in with other doctors on a manual scale, they underestimate me by a long shot when they do the 50lb slider. So maybe that's part of it too!

I am 5'4, 208 pounds, and 16's are getting loose. XL tops are fitting pretty good, but I may be moving down to a L soon.

i am 6'3 and 220 pounds with a 32in inseam and wear a waist size 42 pant, on my way to a 40 soon! can i get it to the 30's? we'll see! at my surgery date i wore a waist size 64 pant. my shirt and coat size is XXL, at my surgery date it was XXXXXXL

idk? at some point all those X's just don't add up to....anything. ha! shirt size doesn't matter much to me as it seems these days it all depends on who makes the shirt, the cut of the shirt, style, etc. but waist sizes don't vary...inches are what they are unless numbers have somehow changed overnight to be flexible!

Hey Ladies,

I am 5'9...I currently weigh 218.  I have been wearing size 12 pants and jeans and they are really loose.  I bought some size 10's in a going out of business sale last month and I couldn't understand why I couldn't fit them...well my Best Friend couldn't get it either til she discovered that they were juniors!!! So I guess I am between a Misses 10/12...My friend is also about the same weight as me and she is 5'5 (never been obese til now) and she wears 16/18...

I have to finally admit,  I do now look very slim and my surgeons goal has been changed to 200lbs.  I guess I carry weight very different than most people.  BTW my grandma who is 94 and has never been over 130 in her life was about my height at that weight...well she has clothing that says size 14 but i couldnt even dream to get into...they are truly about a size 8...so clothing sizes really has changed!
