I'm almost 5-8, hover around 175-80 and wear a size 12-14, or in unisex sizes (like tees and sweats) a medium.

I am 5'8 tall and weigh 233 as of this morning.  I am squarely in a size 18.  Size 20 is noticeably too big and 16s are too small.

I am 5'5" and 226 lbs.  I currently wear size 18 petite jeans (I have short legs) and 1x or xl tops.  Pre-op I was 280-290 lbs, size 24-26 bottoms and 3x/4x tops.

I'm 5"1".  When I started, I was 327 lbs and in a size 5 XL tops and skirts(the kind with elastic waists-so my size could have been larger).  Didn't even dare to wear pants or jeans.
Now, I'm down to 154.5 with 24.5 lbs to go.  In tops,  I'm pretty comfortable with a petite medium.  Skirts and sweats between a size 10-14.   Over Christmas,  my mother gave a bathrobe size small and a dress coat size 8.  I'm not going for pants or jeans until  I have my panni done  on March 3, 2011.  Gotta love it.

Wow, what a difference a body shape is.....I see other's that are the same height and weight as me but are in smaller sizes.....

I am 172 pounds and 5ft 5in and am currently wearing a size 16 in pants and have found some 14's to fit and have found some large shirts to fit but some XL still fit also....it just depends on where I get them. All I know is that I LOVE the fact I can now shop in a REGULAR store and in the REGULAR section WOOHOOO!!!!

I'm 5'5" and weigh 132.6 lbs.  I do cardio and weight training 2x/week, water aerobics 2x/week and a Zumba class every other week.  So, I've built up some muscle mass to replace the fat loss and fill in some of the skin the fat loss left behind.

Right now, I wear a size 6 in most brands of jeans/pants and a small in tops (unless they're 100% cotton)  I wear an 8 in dresses, and my coats and jackets are mostly Mediums to allow for layering in the winter.

I started out at 238 and wearing a size 2x/22/24.

What size I wear is sooo brand specific.  I fit in anything from a size 4 to an 8 depending on brand.  So I average and claim a size 6.  I'm 5'5" and weigh 145.  I haven't been an avid exerciser during my weight loss journey, but have been doing yoga and running for about a month now.  I figure I have at least 10-15 pounds of extra skin around my abdomen alone.  It's so different for everyone!

I've seen this topic a few times here and I have to agree with the confusion (does that even make sense?). I weigh 165-170, yet wear a size 8/10. Last time I wore a size 8/10 I only weighed 140-145 and I exercised like crazy back then. So I truly don't get it.

The only thing I can always think of is that a lot of my weight right now is extra skin and it's more flexible that fat filled skin so the clothes fit a little differently (ie, a tummy filled with fat as big around as mine is doesn't fit into jeans my size because while they may be the same size, my tummy is just extra skin so it easily "squishes" into jeans that the fat filled tummy can't squeeze into). IDK. Another question for the ages I guess, lol.
