how many days is the hospital stay with the DS?

 I spent 5 nights in the hospital.  My Dr. would not let me leave until I passed gas or stool.  He is super cautious.  Looking back, I am glad to have had the extra time and attention in the hospital while I was healing.  ~GG

Spend 2 nights in the hospital for my Lapband to DS revision.  Had textbook recovery and no issues or complications.  Lost all my weight and happy as can be in my size 4s.

Whoa! A size 4????? Wow! I don't want to be any smaller than a 9, because of my height... What was your starting weight?

When I started out with the band (my heaviest) I was 304 at 5'6" tall.   When I got my DS I was about 268.

Trust me ...going in I too thought  " oh I just want to be a 9 or 10".  But I am happy with the size I am now.  I don't want to be any smaller for sure, but it's all good.  My BMI now is between 22.6 and 23 (140 and 143).  I figure it gives me some room for possible bounce back.
