It is apparent you are a chef, because your food looks delicious. *drool* I would love your recipe for the garlic herb chicken wings, YUM. I made your zucchini ribbons when you posted them before with the red pepper shrimp recipe. They have become a staple around here! Great especially for my Mom who is diabetic and doesn't do pasta anyway.
Because I'm a dork, I'll do the DS Math for you (I'm going to count all the carbs for the reasons I listed above).

I'm 9 months first post-op, 5 months 2nd post-op (see my blog for details).
This is what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast was at a little eatery in my home town with my mother. I ordered Irish Eggs Benedict, which consisted of 2 poached eggs, corned beef hash and hollandaise sauce over a toasted English muffin. On the side were peasant potatoes and baked apples. With it I had a nice cup of coffee with lots half'n'half and sweet'n'low.

In full disclosure, my tiny tummy could not engage in all this yumminess! I ate all of the eggs and corned beef hash, but only a little bit of the English muffin, a few bites of potatoes, and one bite of the baked apples. What my plate looked like after:

Then, late morning I had my double protein coffee made with 2 scoops of chocolate peanut butter whey protein blended with 4 ounces of half'n'half, then mixed in coffee. It was actually filled to the brim but I drank a few sips before remembering to take a picture! lol

For full disclosure, again my restriction kicked in and I couldn't fini**** all! But it was so good I couldn't let it go to waste so the rest was eaten as a snack an hour later:

Meanwhile, I was craving me some Sonic Diet Cherry Limeade, and I ate that cherry baby! (I also got another one later that night, what can I say.)

For dinner we went to a Chinese Buffet and I started out with Walnut Shrimp, Cashew Chicken, 2 mussels with a bit of ****tail sauce, and imitation crab salad. I ate it allllll.

Being a buffet, I couldn't resist temptation for a second plate and grabbed Broccoli Beef, some delicious Kim-chi (Korean pickled cabbage) and Sesame Chicken:

But alas, there is NO more room and I barely managed a few bites before giving up:

Then, later that night I had a snack of one mini-bag of microwave popcorn with 2 tablespoons of real butter melted and poured over all of that salty goodness, and I ate the whole thing:

Now, this is what all the food totaled to for the day, if I was pre-op:
Calories: 2,750
Fat: 172 grams
Carbs: 142 grams
Protein: 199 grams
But with my DS malabsorbtion (and removing fiber from the carb count) this is what I really took in:
Calories: 1,010
Fat: 34 grams
Carbs: 57 grams
Protein: 119 grams
Man, this was kinda fun! Let's do it every month!

Buffets can be frustrating sometimes due to the restriction (especially earlier out, for me). At the same time, I find them liberating in a way. It's nice to be able to take just as much as I want of things and not worry about what I can't eat. It's nice to enjoy a sample of a bunch of different tastes. I don't worry about not getting my money's worth, because for plenty of years I got more than enough!
