Being a Jehovah Witness will send you to HELL as will a Hindu or Muslim or any other "Religion" that leaves Christ out of the picture.

I prefer the KJV but if you want to read out of the NKJV or NIV that is your choice as long as you understand Christ and what Christ did for us. I think that if you use other verisons than KJV you need to reference them against KJV. That is my opinion. I never said you would go to HELL for reading NKJV of NIV

When studying particular issues, I've had up to 12 versions on my desk at one time, open to the same scripture. The "Understanding" you have that Atheists don't is being able to ignore the "wrong" scriptures, or changing the ones you don't like to mean the exact opposite of what they say.

Discerning, Not Condemning

It seems as though every nonbeliever knows Matthew 7:1: "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged." Generally, it goes something like this: The Christian approaches a compromising Christian or a nonbeliever and talks about his or her need for Christ. At some point, the Christian will say that a certain thing is a sin. The other person will respond, "Who are you to judge me? Doesn't the Bible itself say, 'Judge not, lest you be judged'? "
So what does this verse mean? Is Jesus suggesting that we are never to speak truthfully to someone, even if what he or she is doing is wrong? Is that indeed judgmental? Does this mean that Christians are never to be critical or make an evaluation? What did Jesus mean when He said, "Judge not, that you be not judged"?
Some people believe that to be a real Christian, you must love and accept everyone. You must be tolerant of everything and never register an opinion. But is that what a Christian is? No, it isn't. That assumption actually contradicts what we read in other passages of the Bible.
People often say that Jesus was a great humanitarian, loving and caring and sharing. He was those things, but Jesus also was a revolutionary. Jesus confronted people. He had some choice words for the Pharisees, calling them vipers and hypocrites and dead men walking. When confrontation was necessary, Jesus would speak the truth to a person.
We must do the same, but we need to do so lovingly. As Ephesians 4:15 says, "Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church." That is what we do with those we love. We should be discerning, but not condemning.

The Bible is full of GREAT women. Not sure how you missed that if you have read and reread the Bible. Just because women are not to lead the Church does not mean they are not important. I can not help that being gay is also wrong. What good does it do this world to be gay? Gay people can not populate this word can they? So tell me what good does it do this world to be gay? Sure gay people are people and they can be nice, funny and loving people but being gay is wrong. What if the entire world were gay.....how long do you think we would survive? Not long since gay people are not create life together. You picked the love on this world over the love of God and you decided to blame your college experience on this. If anyone was at the cros roads of wondering about following Jesus or if Jesus really did love and die for us sinners, after reading *****ie's words, they would turn and run as fast as they could from christian beliefs. For someone who claims to be a Jesus follower, she is amazing at turning people away from Him. You would figure that christians would actually be one both in heart and by example.
I have never been so disgusted by so called christian behavior or preaching. She can single handedly take the credit for getting me off the fence and not wanting anything to do with her Jesus. She totally turned me off of Him. Ironic. Her intolerant ignorance makes athiesm seem better and better. Somebody give her an extra Mcbuck.
