A medium banana has 27 gr carbs - 3 fiber = 24 gr "usable" carbs.
The "bread" one slice has 12 gr carbs -2 fiber = 10 gr "usable" carbs.
Syrup has say 20 gr. carbs.
All equal to 54 gr carbs for breakfast. Only 5 gr fiber. If that is fine with you then so be it.
I recently did a 24 hr relay (MT. bike, ski, running) event. Not bad for a sickly, underweight, pathetic (senior citizen) in many countries miserable person.

You spouted glycemic index like it was an end all be all point in your desire to chastise someone. I merely pointed out the stupidity of relying solely on the GI as experts have pointed out for years (7 or more years) that GL is the bigger factor in blood sugar control. Both GI and GL must be taken into account for optimum control.
The syrup, idiot boy, is sugar free. So your calculations are off and drop to 24 grams. Which is a reasonable carb count for a meal. WLS patients keep pointing out to you thsugar use as much SF products as possible. Reading comprehension is your friend.
So the best you can do is reiterate carb approximations, not understanding the limited amount of food that can be eaten lowers your supposed carb count AND you try to deflect by claiming a superior athleticism. Pics or didn't happen. I'm betting your imaginary books have company.
EDITED: for typo.

Thank you, you forgot to mention that I am a moron and a little slow at this. So now that we have established my mental status.
1. Glycemic index. I was taught, control the insulin/glucagon balance you control weight. But of course morons or (idiot, your words) are seldom correct, At times we cannot process information the same way people with a normal functioning brain does. Glad to know that in your vast array of knowledge you don't consider that bad, refined carbohydrates eaten in excess has nothing to do with the multitude of fat people populating America.
2. Where does it say that the syrup was sugar free?? Nope don't see it anywhere. So it is a pile (if liquids can be in a pile) after all I AM an idiot now, of Splenda?? Quite can't tell if it is Splenda from the picture.

Edited to correct auto-correct.
1. Bananas are not a refined carb.
2. WLS patients, as has been mentioned before, use SF products, i.e. syrup. It is understood by WLS patients that SF syrup would be used. You are not a WLS patient, and you have an agenda. Therefore you assume that it would be a refined sugar syrup.
3. Glycogen control requires understanding GI and GL. I keep pointing out that you are missing key info in your pseudo calculations.
4. I believe that the obesity issue has many factors beyond just quality of food. You have an agenda. I do not.
5. I heartily agree with your assessment of your mental status since you continue to cling to a point that has already been disproved and a repeated insistence that the meal is high carb. You didn't ask for clarification of the syrup or any other component (including quantity) before blow-harding a calculation and judgment. Again, you have an agenda and pesky facts should just be ignored.

1. Never said bananas are refined, what I said is that they are high glycemic.
2. OK then there is some type of mental telepathy that I don't possess when it comes to syrup. My fault idiots have limited intelligence.
3. GI * gr = GL
4. Yes I do have an agenda and I'm sorry that you don't.
5. It is still high carb relative to what is discussed here.
still love you, keep trying

There was no trying, I proved my points with facts. You keep deflecting. You continue to prove my points. Someone with an agenda ignores facts... like you have. An agenda means that you will never participate in real, honest discourse nor will you ever learn anything because your agenda will not allow it.
You did not ask for specific information, but tossed out what you mistakenly thought was the carb count. You still keep trying and failing. 24 grams of carbs is reasonable for most people. Not for me as I am hypoglycemic and monitor my carb intake, but I am an exception, not the rule.

Wake up sunshine.
An agenda could also mean that you are in the process of trying to rule the world. Someone with an Agenda ignores facts?? Don't think so. Agenda also means a step by step plan which most people here don't seem to have. Last sentence first paragraph, to answer, I've learned a wealth of information here.
I am supposed to assume that it was "diet" syrup and not the yummy "fancy" grade Vermont's best. Each individual has a unique point of view when it comes to things. Most people here don't consume 24 grams of carbs all day or the claim/say. Ahhhh hypoglycemic, no wonder you view the syrup as "diet", that would be how you see it.
Hey this is fun, I love starting my day over a nice cup of Italian Espresso, opening up my email and finding you waiting for me!!! Did you notice if Espresso is too hot it isn't quite as good as it is just a tad cooler. Not much just a tad. Just my opinion from a moron. And remember I'm just not any moron, I'm your moron.
Still love you

You've ignored them, stuck to bleating your agenda regardless of information provided. Everyone BUT you realized it would be sugar free syrup because as everyone has repeatedly told you in various posts we must eat low carb.
I am a tea drinker, when I drink coffee it's French press.
I'm reasonably sure you're not just my moron, given the consensus of the comments I've seen. Napoleon complex, much?
