** WHY EAT AROUND YOUR SURGERY***

You really should print out this thread and take it to a QUALIFED bariatric psychiatrist (preferably outside of Kaiser) and ask him or her what your chances for success are.  You are a disaster waiting to happen if you have ANY surgery right now.  You need to fix what is broken about youbefore you are ready.  Your dysfunctional and unrealistic relationship with food is going to do you in, which is UTTERLY obvious to many of the people who have tried to help you on this thread.  Your inappropriate giggling in response is just pathetic and sad - ignoring your insanity will not make it go away.

Please block me -- I don't really want to watch the ensuing trainwreak.

I really like the idea of her printing it out and taking it with her to a QUALIFED bariatric psychiatrist. I wonder if she will.....

If she takes "this"  to a qualified therapist, the therapist will have no choice but to disqualify her for surgery as she is mentally unstable at the moment (read train wreck).

Sadly, I'm betting who ever did help her pass a psyc eval was just running her thru for a numbers game. And the reality is, it was a HUGE unethical disservice to the OP. If she doesn't get a grip NOW, it's gonna be a crapshoot.

I would like to ask her to change the " Why " in her thread title to " When Do You " and then ask her what kind of coping skills does she have set up in advance so that she can avoid the emotional eating that so many of us had prior to WLS, and how positive is she that she will be strong enough to avoid temptation after WLS.
I think food addiction is so much tougher to get a handle on then then any other addiction. We have to eat to live. We don't have to drink alcohol or use drugs to live.

very very very good points Pumpkin!

and I agree... WHEN do you and how do you cope...

and yes the food addiction is harder because you do have to eat to live

but you don't need to gamble or drink alcohol or use drugs....

I am an emotional eater and that is something I will always have to work on.

O.M.G.  Where is the trainwreck smiley when you need it...  Wow, this one is off her rocker.

Bless your heart sweetie.  I PRAY that you reconsider having ANY WLS now.  Please work on your mental state FIRST, or your path will be a difficult one.

Off to eat some key lime cheesecake- NOM!

I am honestly surprised the OP passed a psych evaluation, if she has. OP, why so nasty to everyone? People are just trying to let you know this isn't an easy process and no one is perfect.

Don't feed the troll guys.....it isn't on her pre-op eating plan.  lol

This is some mighty big thread .....

Sweetheart -- my advice to you is not to start drama on the board for S and giggles. It won't get you very far. When you have surgery and post for help.....some of these great people are going to remember your craptastic attitude and ignore your ass, if they haven't all blocked you already.
