You do the DS PROUD!!! Echo...you did NOT help my heart palpitations - even a little bit! I speak for ALL PRE-OPS when I say you guys are INSPIRING.
Happycatbert: Thank you so very much for starting a new thread. I didn't need the controversy...just the EVIDENCE!!! Thank you all.

I'm so inspired and proud of all my DS brothers and sisters, what an amazing group of people...and wow, we have some out and out HOTTIES!!
Here are a few of my before and afters. The first is a picture of me and my twin sister before our DS's (she had hers a month after I did), and revisiting the same place, this past May. I can't say which makes me tear up more...seeing how heavy I was in the first picture, or how completely grateful I feel in the second...
This is one of the pictures, and occassions, that made me take stock of my health and happiness situation and helped lead me to deciding upon WLS and ultimately the Duodenal Switch - October 2008 wearing 26/28 pants and probably a 3x shirt:
And this past May, 2010 in my size 12 (baggy) designer jeans and medium top:

Loving my DS!!
Loving my DS!!
Oh, I wanna play too!!! I'm nearing 10 months out, my DH also had the DS, he's about 8 months out now. Here are some befores:
Not sure what size he was wearing, but my dress was a 26/28. I gained another 30lbs or so after this photo.
And some current afters...I'm at a normal BMI, he's about 10 lbs out from "normal."
Me a few weeks ago, wearing a Medium top and size 8 jeans. I now have 6's that fit as well.
