Since this thread is buried waay deep in a controvery on another page, I figured I would start a new thread..

The story goes that we DSers don't post our before/after pictures because we aren't at goal, at a normal BMI, blah blah blah.

So if you are interested in a longer term DSer, before, during, and after, feel free to check out my profile.

The rest of you - let's goooooo.

Sharon

You, my dear are utterly gorgeous! Love the dress!

Here is my 1 year out compare  - I am down to somewhere between 182 and 186 and I am 6'2" tall so I am at a normal BMI.   I want to know how Echo got a six pack - i am pissed all I got was a whole **** load of loose skin - guess he worked out and I didn't.. LOL

John, this is just an amazing comparison.  You look so unhappy in your before, and every one of your afters I have seen, you always just beam.  I'm so proud of you!

OK, I'll play, here's a couple of before, but 28 years after gastric bypass / RNY:

The night before surgery, nice scar huh:

And a few after pictures, this is at 9 months:

13 months, I just got my commercial pilot license and a rotor craft endorsement:

This is at 22 months, I just finished about 40 minutes of swimming laps:

You can see more on my profile if you want to see more of my DS journey.

I love, love, love my DS, this is a whole different experience than the gastric bypass / RNY; it does not suck!

What is it with all these Lifetime-movie-costar-leading men?

Kerry, I too am a Utahn and I too had RNY that didn't work. I may have to throw some questions at ya. You've been warned!

Julie!!! WOW!! First off your pre op pic looks nothing like you, well the blond hair makes it more convincing! But holy Moly in your after pic you don't even look like you were over weight a day in your life!
