I honestly think you are nothing but a liar...And you seemed to get the surgery very quickly after you found a dr that you said wasnt even around you to get in the first place(even though MANY MANY people tried to help you find one) You are rude annoying and full of crap...And then you are trying to give pre ops BAD advice...You come on here ask things never reply to anyone unless you want to call them names and you never listen to anything anyone says...Wow you trully annoy me...

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother.  I'm very glad to hear that you're back on track with your eating.  Take care of yourself.  You can make this work.

Given the replies, there must be some history here that I don't know about....   I didn't read what went on the other day BUT I, too, wanted to offer my condolences about your Grandma.  It is hard to lose Grandparents! I miss mine so much!

~~~  To the others, this is supposed to be a support  forum.  No that doesn't mean you have to buy into what other people have to say always, but it does mean that you are to be supportive.  No one here has the right to decide if this man has or has not had the surgery.  If you don't like what he has to say or if you don't have something to help him, then why not move on to the next post?

As far as the psych evals, those are mostly a joke.  We all know what they consisted of.  I have seen many people whom I thought should not have the surgery get the surgery.  But who am I to say.  Maybe their obesity is going to kill them if they don't.  So it is better off to give someone who may not be psychologically sound the surgery and counsel them as much as possible, than it is to allow them to die from obesity related issues. 

But here, this should be a sanctuary for the obese.  Just because someone may not be as normal as they should be doesn't mean they shouldn't get adequate advise.  I would like to see everyone succeed at this.  I hate to see anyone fail.  It is appalling to see the people who apparently think they are superior to others just because they get it.  I have had to ask questions that I feel certain others thought were stupid or had been answered a 1000 times by others.  

Anywho, I find it a huge, huge shame that there are so many people here who attack first then ask questions later.  I have seen his posts, and personally think it is bizarre that someone wouldn't know these answers.  But again, who am I to say? 

I am a very supportive person but this guy is nasty to people and asks the samethings over and over and does not listen to anyone...I am not nasty to people and email with people when they need help...
As for move on well he gives very bad advice to others and he has no clue what he is talking about....

Fair enough Laura, I feel certain that you do support a great many people.  I guess I get confused about this being a support forum for weight loss.  It isn't just a support forum for all the sane, smart people who have WLS. 

Some people may have to be told a thousand times the same thing for it to sink in . . . and sometimes they really can't help themselves.  I don't know if this is his case or not, but  we should all strive to help all who need it.  I don't think it is fair to pick and choose the people who get help.  And I don't think it is fair to consider someone too "ignorant" to help.  Just my humble opinion.
